Mrs. Margaret Steed

Augusta, GA- Mrs. Margaret Steed, 69, of East Watkins Street entered into rest Thursday, February 14, 2013 at the University Hospital. Funeral service will be held Friday, February 22, 2013 at 11:a.m. at Mt. Zion A.M.E. Zion Church with Rev. Albert Young, Jr., officiating. Burial will be at Walker Memorial Park. She was a native of York, SC; a member of Mt. Zion A.M.E. Zion Church; a retiree of the Richmond County School System with 27 years of service and was a member of AKA Sorority. Survivors are two daughters, Evadne Ford, Augusta, GA, Sheri Rowland, Lavonia, GA; son, Kevin Steed. Atlanta; two brothers, William (Carolyn) Evans, Orangeburg, SC and Joseph (Mary)Evans, Rock Hill, SC; 14 grandchildren; one great grandchild; 3 sisters-in-law, Richardine Daggett, Atlanta, Danette Daggett, Augusta, GA and Alice Evans, Philadelphia, PA; brother-in-law, Richard Daggett, Sr., Augusta, GA; a host of other relatives and friends.
