Mrs. Dorothy C. Singleton

Augusta, GA-Mrs. Dorothy C. Singleton of Conner Court entered into rest Friday, February 15, 2013 at the Trinity Hospital. Funeral service will be held Saturday, February 23, 2013 at 11:a.m. at the United House of Prayer with Elder Micah Scott officiating. Burial will be at Southview Cemetery. She was a native of Augusta, GA; a retired Educator who taught over 19 years for the Richmond County Board of Education and a member of the United House of Prayer. Survivors are Elder James Butler, Augusta, GA; two devoted daughters, Jacquelyn Singleton, Augusta, GA and Felecia Griffin, Savannah, GA; one son, Gary (Michelle) Singleton, Dallas, TX; 4 sisters, Mary (Micheal) Martin, and Deloris Combs, Augusta, GA, Brenda (Fred) Crawford, Dallas, TX and Betty Sanders, Dorchester, MA; 4 brothers, William (Sabra) Combs, and Jack Combs, Augusta, GA, Robert Combs (Linda), Atlanta, GA and William (Liz) Verdun, Greenville, SC; 4 grandchildren; nephews, nieces, other relatives and friends.
