Augusta, GA -- Mrs. Pearlene Rolland Teasley entered intto rest on Monday, February 25, 2013 at Emory Univiversity Hospital, Atlanta. Funeral service will be held on Saturday, March 2, 2013 at 11 a.m. at First Mt. Moriah Baptist Church with Rev. Eugene Johnson officiating. Burial will be at Hillcrest Memorial Park. Survivors are her husband, Fred D. Teasley, Jr.; daughters, Tonya L. (Lawrence) Brown, Tyrone, GA, Meshanda R. (Donjay) Avera, Augusta; son, Javen J. Teasley, Layton, Utah; stepdaughter, Sherice Teasley-Harvin, North Carolina; grandchildren, Ty'Berious Garnett, Jaydon Avera, Aiden Avera; five stepgrandchildren;mother, Mary Alice Rolland, Johnston, SC; father, Eugene (Coneva) Rolland, Philadelphia, PA; brothers, Eugene (Bertty Ann) Waldo, Ridge Spring, SC, Donald E. Rolland, Philadelphia, PA, Daniel Rolland, Suitland, MD; sisters, Janice (Douglas) Taylor, Dana Nathaniel, North Augusta, SC, Kembrane (John) WIlliams, Upper Marlboro, MD, Wanda Rolland, Johnston, SC, Donna (John) Payton, Philadelphia, PA; and several nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends from 6 to 7 p.m. on Friday at the funeral home, Mrs. Teasley will lie in state at the church on Satrurday from 10 a.m. until the hour of service.
