Blythe, GA- Mr. Alton Brown of Bath Edie Road entered into rest on Saturday, May 12, 2012 at University Hospital. Mr. Brown was a long time employee of the Augusta Housing Authority and a member of Spring Grove Baptist Church in Hephzibah. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, May 19, 2012 at 11:00AM at the B.A. Williams Memorial Chapel, with Rev. Howard Harden officiating. Viewing will be held 1 hour prior to the service. He was preceded in death by his parents Mr. Wilmer and Mrs. Rosa Mae Brown, and one brother Milton. He leaves to mourn five brothers; George Brown, Karl (Tessie) Brown, Kenneth Brown and Wayne Brown all of Blythe, GA and Wilmer (Beverly) Brown of Augusta; one sister Jeanette B. Neal of Augusta; two Aunts Mrs. Lillian Pugh and Ms. Gladys Brown; six nephews and two neices, as well as a host of other family and dear friends.
