Augusta, GA- Mrs. Cynthia E. Ellison entered into rest on Thursday, April 30, 2015 at her residence. Funeral service will be held on Thursday, May 7, 2015 at 1 p.m. at New Zion Hill Missionary Baptist Church with Rev. Dr. James A. Hogan Sr. officiating. Burial will be at Hillcrest Memorial Park. Mrs. Ellison, a native of Augusta, was a 1968 graduate of T. W. Josey High School. After twenty years of service, she retired as a bus driver from Richmond County Board of Education. Survivors are her devoted husband, Jerry E. Ellison, III; three sons, Jerry E. (Loretta) Ellison, IV, Tampa, FL, Preston D. (Latoya) Ellison, Sr., N. Augusta, SC, Gary L. (Yulynn) Ellison, Oahu (Mililani), HI; brothers, Walter (Barbara) Etheridge, Jr., Augusta, Alonzo (Janie) Etheridge,, Lompoc, CA; father-in-law, Jerry E. (Betty) Ellison, II, Augusta; sisters-in-law, Ethel Dunn, Augusta, Annie Kate (Leroy) Lakes, Grovetown, Loretta Brown, Martinez; brother-in-law, Christopher (Crystal) Ellison, Augusta; eight grandchildren, Jasmine,Jada, Ellisa, Zhyne, Tyrell, Kyla, Preston Jr., Jerry V,; five godchildren, Heather Brown, Starlesha Bryant Tucker, Kimberly Murray Floyd, Anyanna Floyd, Devonte Dennis; a very special friend, Priscilla Murray Reed; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
