Mr. John Edward Germany Sr. entered into rest on Friday, April 7, 2017 at his residence. Funeral service will be held on Friday, April 14, 2017 at 1 p.m. at Good Hope Baptist Church with Rev. Dr. J.R. Hatney officiating. Burial will follow at Mt. Olive Memorial Garden. He survived by his wife, Frances L. Germany, daughter, Theresa M. (Tony) Burnette son, John E. (Vania) Germany, Jr. sister, Mattie Williams; brother, James Sturgis, grandchildren:; Gene Maddox, Steven James, Jr., Maya Gordon, Kaleb Burnette, John E. Germany, III; special brother-in-law/friend; Stewart Ansley, Sr.; and a host of other relatives and friends. The family will receive friends on Thursday from 6 to 7:30 at the funeral home.
