Augusta, GA- Mr. Patrick L. Thompkins, Jr., of Woodside Road entered into rest Thursday, August 25, 2011. Funeral service will be held Wednesday, August 31, 2011 at 11:a.m. at Mt. Calvary Baptist Church with Rev. Clyde Hill, Sr., Rev. Darryl J. Hammond, Minister Gregory Shields, and Pastor Mark Walden officiating. Burial will be at Walker Memorial Park. He was a native of Augusta, GA; a 1999 graduate of T. W. Josey High School; employed at the Augusta Boxing Club where he was a Light Weight Boxer, Trainer and Mentor to the Youth. He was a member of Maranatha Baptist Church. Survivors are his Mother, Carolyn Anderson; Father, Patrick Thompkins, Sr., Augusta; step-father, Lawrence Anderson, Texas children, Nyasia Thompkins, Patrick L. Thompkins, III, Paris Thompkins; step-daughter, Jerniah Fowller; Godmother, Bertha Freeman; sister, Lameisha Thompkins, three brothers, Pierre Thompkins, Kevin Thompkins and Michael Allen; two step-brothers, Timothy Bokknight and Justin Bokknight, all of Augusta; God sister, Shameka Patterson Brown, North Carolina; 6 aunts; 3 uncles; a host of other relatives and friends.
