Hephzibah , GA . - Mrs. Sonja R. Griffin entered into rest on Thursday, December 18, 2014 at Georgia Regents University. Funeral service will be Saturday, December 27, 2014 at 2:00 PM, at Broadway Baptist Church, with Reverend Dr. C.W. Joyner, officiating. Interment will follow at Mt. Olive Memorial Garden. Mrs. Griffin, a native of Fort Dix, NJ, was a member of Broadway Baptist Church and was a long time employee of Freedom Park Elementary School on Fort Gordon. She leaves to cherish her memories a loving husband Peter Griffin, sons, Andre Rashad Griffin and Matthew Omar Griffin, Hephzibah, GA; One brother Clarence (Tanesua) Williams, Accokeek, MD; three sisters Sheila McQueen, Atlanta, GA, Stephanie Williams, Augusta, GA and Sabrina (Greg) Collier, Hephzibah, GA. Family will receive friends Friday evening from 6:00PM to 7:30 at the funeral home.
