Mrs. Ada Roberta Thomas entered into rest on Sunday, September 13, 2026. Funeral service will be held on Friday, September 18, 2026, at 11 a.m. at Belle Terrace Presbyterian Church with burial to follow at Mt. Olive Memorial Gardens. Roberta was preceded in death by her mother, Della Middleton; stepfather, James Middleton; daughter, Karla Thomas; aunt, Alice Houck; and sister, Mercedes Middleton.  She leaves to cherish her precious memories, her loving and devoted husband, Alfred; son, Brian of Augusta, Ga.; one granddaughter, Shakeena Thomas, Atlanta, GA; three sisters: Patrica Major (Robert) of Augusta, GA, Leona Middleton and Susie Miller of Williston, FL; three brothers: Frank James Middleton (Climmie) of Gainesville, FL, John Middleton (Theresa) of Savannah, GA, and Lionel Middleton (Carolyn) Fayetteville, NC; one brother-in-law, Freddie Thomas (Katie) of Augusta, GA; one sister -in-law, Elizabeth Greenlee (Reno), Sacramento, CA. There will be a viewing on Thursday from 1 to 5 p.m. at the funeral home.
