Mrs. Alicia A. Thomas entered into rest on Friday, January 23, 2026. Funeral service will be held on Saturday, February 7, 2026, at Broadway Baptist Church at 11:00 a.m. Interment will follow at Mount Olive Memorial Gardens. She was preceded in death by her paternal grandmother, Mary Scott and paternal grandfather, Odell Scott Sr., maternal grandfather, Samuel Mims Sr., and maternal grandmother, Mae Bell Mims. She leaves behind to cherish her memories her loving husband, Clarence Thomas III of Augusta, Ga; father Odell Scott Jr. of Hephzibah, Ga.; mother Pauline Scott of Hephzibah, Ga, sons Montrey (Chassidy) Scott, Demetrice Scott, Darian Scott, Quantez Roberson, Byron Roberson, Jontavious Thomas, and Clarence Thomas IV of Augusta, Ga; daughters Chanique Scott and Jonashia Thomas of Augusta, Ga., step-son Kentrell Thomas of Augusta, Ga, sisters Pamela (Antwoine) Taylor of Jacksonville, Fl., Shontell Scott, Natasha Scott, and Mary Scott of Hephzibah, Ga., uncles Joe (Linda) Mims, Michael (Rose) Mims of Augusta, Ga., James (Nita) Sturgis of Charlotte, NC., aunt Mary (Clarence) Law of Augusta, Ga., and a host of grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and cousins. There will be a viewing on Friday, February 6, 2026, from 1-5 p.m. at the funeral home.
