Ms. Ann Virginia Johnson entered into rest on Sunday, August 9, 2026. Funeral service will be held Wednesday, August 19, 2026, at B.A. Williams Memorial Chapel at 11:00 a.m. Interment will follow at Hillcrest Memorial Park. She was preceded in death by 2 daughters, Valerie Dunbar and Kimberly Dunbar, and three siblings: Donald Williams, James Robinson, and Doris Poole. Ms. Johnson is survived by her daughter, Gwendolyn Dunbar; sons, Clarence (Ericka) Dunbar and Marcus Dunbar; 22 grandchildren; sisters: Ceil Smith, Fredine Sowell, Johnnie Mae Atwell, Bonnie Jones, Gladys Lewis, Ruby Lee Kennedy, and Amanda Atwell; brothers: Frank Willingham, Herbert Willingham, George Willingham, Anthony Atwell Sr., Charlie Atwell, and Johnny Atwell, and a host of great grandchildren, great-great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and cousins. Viewing will be held Tuesday, August 18, 2026, from 1-5 p.m. at the funeral home.
