Mrs. Ann Dawson Rhodes entered into rest on Saturday, December 13, 2025. Funeral service will be held on Saturday, December 27, 2025, at The United House of Prayer for All People at 11:00 a.m. Interment will follow at Hillcrest Memorial Park.  Ann D. Rhodes was born in Augusta, Georgia to the late Monroe and Eura Dawson. She was one of three children born to Mr. and Mrs. Dawson. She was married to the late Jimmie L. Rhodes. She received her formal education in Richmond County and graduated

from Lucy C. Laney High School. She also attended Paine College. Ann was a lifelong and dedicated member of The United House of Prayer for All People and held various positions within the organization including Treasurer, Tithes Secretary, Member of Young Adult Ushers and Pastor's Representative. She worked for Richmond County Schools as a paraprofessional and Braillist for special education until her retirement. She is preceded in death by her husband, Jimmie L. Rhodes and son, Darrell T Rhodes. She leaves behind to cherish memories: Her children daughter, Denese T. Rhodes and son, Demond T. Rhodes; brother, Monroe Dawson Jr.; grandchildren: Darius and Cassondra Jones of Des Moine, IA, Ashley and Dontavis Brown, Christopher and Lizzie Rhodes of Omaha, NE, Tristian and Stephanie Rhodes; great-grandchildren, Camden and Taylor Jones, Rylee Brown, Aria Rhodes, Hunter Morgan and Marie Green of Grand Island, NE; and a host of nieces, nephews and friends.
