Apostle Dr. Millard F. Byrd entered into rest on Wednesday, August 20, 2025. Funeral service will be held on Saturday, September 6, 2025, at World Outreach Evangelistic Church at 11:00 a.m. Interment will follow at Mount Olive Memorial Gardens. He is preceded in death by his wife, Georgia Byrd and son, Torrey Byrd. He is survived by his children, Byron Byrd, Dwayne Byrd Sr., Tamar Byrd-Parker; eight grandchildren, one great grandchild; sister, Ethel B. Williams. The family will receive friends on Friday from 4 to 6 p.m. at the funeral home.
