Mrs. Apryl Ann Burgess entered into rest on Wednesday, October 14, 2026. Memorial service will be held Saturday, October 24, 2026, at B. A. Williams Memorial Chapel at 2:00 p.m. Inurnment will be held at Crawford Grove Missionary Baptist Church Cemetery. She was preceded in death by her father, Robert Young, and mother and stepfather, Mary Alice Latham and Richard Latham. Mrs. Burgess is survived by her husband, Cardine George Burgess; daughter, Courtney Burgess; son, Skyler Burgess; goddaughter, Naesha (Keenan) Parks-Johnson; stepdaughters, La'Tisha Stuppard and Leslie McCord; siblings: Robert (Valerie) Young Jr., Kimberly "Jody" (Phil) Gerry, Kelly (Jeff) King, and Ricci (Fred) McRae; 14 grandchildren, 4 great-grandchildren, and a host of other family members and friends.
