Mrs. Bessie Pearl Stephens entered into rest on January 7, 2025. Funeral service will be held on Wednesday, January 22, 2025 at B. A. Williams Memorial Chapel at 11:00 am. Interment will be at Southview Cemetery. She was preceded in death by her husband, James Marion Stephens, daughters: Marilyn Gertrude Stephens and Angela Viola Black, and son-in-law, Ronald Jarrett. She is survived by her daughter, Lorain Jarrett; sons, Isaac (Gekiia) Butler and Kwaku (Afia) Ndombe Nlongo; nine grandchildren; nine great-grandchild; and a host of nieces and nephews.
