Mr. Bobby Lamonte Taylor entered into rest on Monday, June 9, 2025. Funeral service will be held Saturday, June 21, 2025 at B.A. Williams Memorial Chapel at 11:00 a.m. He was born on September 7, 1971 as the second born of three children. Mr. Taylor graduated from Butler High School. He was a son, husband, brother, father, grandfather, uncle and friend to many. If you knew him, you know he was a private person but loving and caring even stubborn at times. Mr. Taylor hobbies were photography, playing Pokémon Go, cooking, fishing, fish tanks and plants. He loved spending time with his family and best believe that stubborn streak would pop up when he was advised against it (doing things when he knew he shouldn't be). He would insist he got it and needed no help. Bobby formed bonds with everyone he met. He was a caring man who worked hard, always kept a job. To know him was to love him. Bobby is survived by his children, Lamonica (Theron) Wilson Jr., Anthony Taylor, Dana Taylor, DaShawn Brown and Damein Taylor; grandchildren, Christina, Lauren, Melani, Damein Jr, Ari, Bruce, Jaiden and Akura; parents, Bobbie and Laura Taylor; siblings, Tamara (Richard) Cummings and Denise Smith; nieces and nephews, Ricky, Dathan, Zaran, Kharee and Jaela; and a host of aunts, uncles and cousins. There will be a viewing, Friday, June 20, 2025, from 1-5 p.m. at the funeral home.
