Mrs. Brenda Sue Richards entered into rest on September 2, 2026.  Memorial service will be held on Wednesday, September 9, 2026, at 1:00 p.m. at B. A. Williams Memorial Chapel. At the center of Brenda's life were her three daughters, three grandchildren, and two great grandchildren. She took tremendous pride in being a mother and never missed an opportunity to talk about her girls. Though she adored her grandchildren and great grandchildren, there was one title she refused to accept—Grandma. She was NaNa, and NaNa suited her perfectly. Her family will remember her stories, her laughter, the things she said that made everyone shake their heads, and the love she gave so freely. Her daughters will carry the pride she had in them and the Louisiana roots she made sure they never forgot. Her grandchildren and great grandchildren will remember simply NaNa—a name filled with her personality, her spirit, and her love. Her voice may now be quiet, but her joy, her stories, and her love will remain forever. She was our mother, and she was their NaNa—and there was only one Brenda.
