Caffee S.
Wright
Mar 28, 1962 — Sep 27, 2024
Mrs. Caffee S. Wright entered into rest on Friday, September 27, 2024. Her funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 12, 2024 at Highway 56 Church of Christ at 11:00 a.m. Interment will be held at Bellevue Memorial Gardens. Caffee, born on March 28, 1962, in Valdosta, Georgia, to Robert and Robertha Lawrence, left a legacy of love, service, and unwavering faith. As the middle of five daughters, Caffee's childhood was marked by her excellence in gymnastics, track, and beauty pageants—a testament to her discipline, grace, and determination. On December 22, 1979, Caffee married her high school sweetheart, Curtis Wright, beginning a journey that would span decades, continents, and boundless love. Shortly after their union, they welcomed their first daughter, April, on April 11, 1980, in Valdosta, GA, followed by their second daughter, Alisha, born on November 7, 1983, in Frankfurt, Germany. Caffee devoted her life to her family, raising her daughters and supporting Curtis in his Air Force career, which took them from Georgia to Wyoming, Germany, Florida, West Virginia, and Georgia again. No matter where life took them, Caffee's love and strength were the foundation of their home. In the late 1980s, while caring for her family, Caffee returned to school, proving her resilience and intellectual curiosity. She graduated with honors from Bluefield State University in West Virginia, earning an Associate of Science degree. Her academic journey continued, and she earned a Bachelor of Arts degree, Magna Cum Laude, and a Master of Education in School and Community Counseling from Augusta University. Caffee became a Licensed Professional Counselor, Certified School Counselor, and National Certified Counselor, making a profound impact on the lives of those she counseled through her private practice, The Counseling Group. Caffee was not only a dedicated professional but also a passionate gardener. Her childhood dream of living on a farm came true when she and Curtis built their retirement home on 0.85 acres of land in 2022. She poured her heart into creating a breathtaking garden in honor of her beloved mother and became a certified master gardener and beekeeper. Though she did not have time to fulfill her wish of raising chickens, her garden flourished as a testament to her creativity and care. After retiring from her counseling practice in 2017, Caffee continued her lifelong pursuit of knowledge by earning an Associate's degree in Horticulture from Augusta Technical College. She then worked as a horticulturist at Augusta National, blending her passion for nature with her deep sense of purpose. Family was at the center of everything Caffee did. As a devoted mother, grandmother, wife, sister, and friend, she offered unconditional love and support to those around her. Her grandchildren held a special place in her heart, and she was their biggest cheerleader, cheering them on at their football and soccer games. A faithful Christian, Caffee was an active member of Highway 56 Church of Christ, and her deep faith in the Lord guided her throughout her life. Caffee's strength, kindness, and unwavering love have left an indelible mark on all who knew her. Her life was a shining example of grace, resilience, and devotion. Though she will be deeply missed, her legacy of love and faith will continue to inspire and comfort those she leaves behind.
