Mrs. Carmen Beard entered into rest on Wednesday, June 10, 2026, in Augusta, GA. Funeral service will be held on Wednesday, June 17, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. at B. A. Williams Memorial Chapel. Interment will follow at Mt. Olive Memorial Garden. Mrs. Beard is survived by her husband, James Beard Jr.; three daughters , Jasmine Ruffin, Italy Ruffin, Tiffany Beard; six grandchildren, Kai and Kenly Cannady, Talaya, Leroy, Dervin Jones, Janiya Williams; her loving parents, Calvin (Helen) Stewart; two sisters, Bridgette Thomas, Erica Stewart; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives and friends.
