Mrs. Carrie Bell Thomas entered into rest on Wednesday, May 20, 2026. Funeral service will be held on Friday, May 29, 2026, at B. A. Williams Chapel at 2:00 p.m. Interment will follow at Mount Olive Memorial Gardens. She was preceded in death by her parents, John and Etta Goodwin Sr; brothers, John Goodwin Jr. and James Goodwin; sister-in-law, Milba Gene Goodwin, son -in-law, Anthony M. Cooper. She leaves to cherish her precious memories to her devoted daughters, Beverly D. (Freddie) Crittenden and Audrey L. Cooper; sister-in-law, Susie Goodwin, beloved grandchildren, Kenyada Powell, Rickey (Amanda) Powell, Cornelius Evans, Kaula (Ta'Wane) Watkins, Maurice Cooper, Yolanda Cooper; seven great -grandchildren and two great -great grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews and other relatives. There will be a viewing on Thursday from 1-5 p.m.
