Chiquita V. Jones was born on October 3, 1954, to Arabella Elsie Van Duyne and Jacob Henry Van Duyne. On June 20, 2025, she bid a heartfelt farewell, saying, "So Long, Until We Meet Again in Glory!" Chiquita was an utterly unique and extraordinary Woman of God. Her love for her husband, her sister, her nieces, nephew, great niece, great nephews, great aunts and uncles, cousins, other family members, friends, and church family was unwavering and deeply heartfelt. She had a remarkable ability to make everyone who crossed her path feel accepted, valued, and genuinely loved from the very first encounter. Chiquita was a selfless presence, ensuring that everyone around her was cared for and uplifted. Her boundless energy and enthusiasm saw her go above and beyond in all that she did. A lover of life, Chiquita embraced spontaneity, adventure, and travel, finding joy in every corner of the world she explored. Her legacy of love, kindness, and unshakable faith will continue to inspire all who knew her. Celebration of Life Chiquita's celebration of life will commence in Georgia and conclude in New Jersey (details to follow at a later time).
