Mrs. Christine D. McCullus entered into rest on Saturday, March 21, 2026.   Funeral service will be held on Saturday, March 28, 2026, at 2 p.m. at Transforming Lives Church.  Interment will be at Hillcrest Memorial Park.  Survivors are her daughters, Shante (Samuel) Mackey of Albany, Ga., Shalonda (Rico, Sr.) McCullus Walton of Hephzibah, Ga.; grandchildren, Samuel Mackey II of Pittsburgh, PA, Chantel Mackey of Seoul Korea, Rico J. N. Walton Jr., of Augusta, Ga. Precious (Leander Roberson) Walton of Augusta, Ga; great grandchild, Rayne Walton; brother, Thomas C. Johnson, Jr.; aunts, Maggie Cartwright, Beatrice Cheatham, Arlene Cheatham; uncle, Charles (Sarah) Johnson; devoted niece, Aundra Johnson; sisters-in-law, Melvinnie McKinney, Annie (Louis) Moat, Edna Johnson, Sandra Johnson, Mary L. Patterson, of Pittsburgh, PA and Margaret (Virgil) Walker, of Saginaw, MI ; brother-in-law, Willie Ed (Willie Pearl) McCullus; goddaughter, Jennifer Thomas; Godsisters, Rebecca Odom of Hephzibah, Ga and Williemenia Streetman of Augusta, Ga.;  lifelong friends, Gail Thomas, Rachel Williams, Melvine Newman, Vernice Brooks; friend and coworker, Joyce Law Essie and Ernest Smith; and a host of nieces, nephews and cousins.
