Funeral service is Saturday, July 12, 2025, at Greater Young Zion Missionary Baptist Church at 2:30 p.m. Interment will follow at Cedar Grove Cemetery. She is survived by her son, Dennis (Patricia) Nelson; sister, Joan Gilmore; brothers, Robert Shannon, Arthur Nix; sisters-in-law, Ida Shannon, Juanita Addison, Delores Nelson, Ola Mae Marshbanks; devoted niece, Kim Mack; special friends, Dawn and Mary Ann Smith and a host of grandchildren, nieces, nephews and other relatives.
