Elder Shebra
Green
Nov 1, 2006 — Nov 21, 2025
Elder Shebra Green, age 62, entered into eternal rest on November 21, 2025. Funeral service will be held Friday, November 28, 2025, at B. A. Williams Memorial Chapel at 11:00 a.m. Interment will be Tuesday, December 2, 2025, at Ft. Jackson National Cemetery. She was born on November 8, 1963, in Swainsboro, Georgia, to Estella McGlawn and Bernard McGlawn.
Shebra was a proud veteran of the United States Army, where she served faithfully for four years. Dedicated to lifelong learning, she continued her education at Aiken Technical College and the University of Phoenix. She went on to serve her community and church with passion, commitment, and unwavering faith. She was ordained as an Elder under CKIA and was an active member of Love Fellowship Tabernacle in both New York and South Carolina, where she joyfully sang with the Celebration Choir.
Her vibrant personality, quick humor, and joyful spirit were trademarks of who she was. Shebra was known for spreading laughter, uplifting others, and embracing life fully. She was also a proud Converse shoe enthusiast, expressing her fun, unique style wherever she went. One of her favorite scriptures was Hebrews 4:12, a verse that reflected her deep love for the Word of God.
Shebra deeply cherished her family. She was the loving mother of her only son, Julian Green, and the devoted fur mommy to her beloved Buddy Green. She held a special place in her heart for her close nieces—Kristy, Harmony, and Sarah—and close nephews—Steve, Corey, Zachariah, and Andrew. She was also blessed with close relationships with her aunts Carolyn Stephens, Wylene Woods, and Carnita Brown, and her uncles James (Gloria) Harden, Pastor Willie (Joyce) Harden, and Anthony Ray (Jeanette) Harden.
She shared lifelong friendships with Lorianne, Katrelle, Janine, and Andrea. She was honored to have Pastor Ronell Sarvis as her Godmother, and she treasured her God sisters, Mary Gilkes and Glinda Morrison.
Left to celebrate her legacy are her mother, Ruling Elder Estella McGlawn; her son, Julian Tyrone Green; her seven beloved nieces and nephews; a host of great-nieces and great-nephews; two godchildren; her Pastor Overseer, Hugh Harmon and the Love Fellowship Kingdom Restoration Tabernacle Family, and many cherished family members and friends who will forever hold her memory close.
Shebra's life was a testament to faith, love, laughter, and service. Her light will continue to shine in the hearts of all who knew and loved her.
Interment will be Tuesday, December 2, 2025, at Ft. Jackson National Cemetery. Ms. Green may be viewed one hour prior to start of service.
