Augusta, GAMrs. Emmeline Jackson of Ellen Street entered into rest on Wednesday, March 21, 2012 at The Place at Martinez. Mrs. Jackson a native of Sparta, GA moved to New York at an early age. She worked as a home health nurse until her retirement. Funeral services are scheduled for Monday, March 26, 2012 at 1:00P.M. at New Life Worship Center on Morgan road, with Pastor Claude Harris officiating. The family will receive friends on Sunday evening from 6:00P.M. to 8:00P.M. at Williams Funeral Home, 2945 Old Tobacco Road, Hephzibah, Ga. She leaves to cherish her memories her husband William A. Jackson of Hephzibah; a son William A. Jackson Jr. of Chesapeake, VA; five daughters, Rhonda (Ronald)Nurse, Glenda Watson, Myra Tucker all of Augusta, Sandra (William)Charles of Brooklyn, NY, and Gladys Bentley of Farrockaway, NY; 22 Grandchildren, 21 Great Grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
