Mrs. Esther Lee Howard entered into rest on Friday, December 20, 2024. Funeral service will be held on Monday, December 30, 2024 at Springhill Missionary Baptist Church at 11:00 a.m. Interment will follow at Mount Olive Memorial Gardens. Esther Martin Howard was born on September 21, 1956 in Burke County to the late Freddie T. Martin Sr. and Geneva W. Martin. Esther gave birth to a baby girl, Patrice Parker. She was married to the late Barry Howard for forty plus years and had two more children, Stephanie Howard- Farms and Crystal Howard. She was employed at Gracewood State School and Hospital for over two decades. Esther was preceded in death by her siblings: Frankie L. Williams, Theodore Wright, Barron Wright, Freddie T. Martin Jr., Diane Wright, Darline Nesbit and Cynthia Smith. She leaves behind to cherish her memories: children, Patrice (Chris) Parker, Stephanie (Vic) Howard-Farms, Crystal Howard (Tyree Berrian); sisters, Elean (Ralph) Perkins, Gloria (Simpson) Gray, Sentheial (Barry) Johnson, and Tammy W. Lambert; brothers, Kevin (Tina) Martin and Frederick Grant; grandchildren, David Jordan, Katrice Jordan, Joshua Murphy, Aaliyah Franklin, Chartese Murphy, Marquis Bailey, Jr., Tyree Berrian, Aamiri Farms; great-grandchildren, K'Aysia Jordan Keshaun Harvey; brother- in-law, Alphonzo Wright Sr.; 3 aunts and 2 uncles and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, relatives and friends.
