Mrs. Georgene Courtney entered into rest on Monday, August 19, 2024. Funeral of Christian Mass will be held on Monday, August 26, 2024 at 2 p.m. the Church of the Most Holy Trinity. Interment will be at Walker Memorial Park. Survivors are daughters, Sharyle Garrett, Cheryl Williams, Yavetta Coats; brother, George (Creola) Mack; grandchildren, Tera Courtney Lacey, Martiese Williams, Travis Courtney; eight great grandchildren; nieces and nephews, Barbara Johnson, Loretta Williams, Michael Few, Ronnie Stamps, Ronnie Henley; several great nieces and nephews; goddaughters, Lisa Stringer, Jackie Christian; and a dear friend, Joan Stringer. Family will receive friends on Sunday from 1 to 3 p.m. at the funeral home.
