Mrs. Gloria Ann Wright entered into rest on Monday, August 24, 2026. Funeral service will be held Tuesday, September 1, 2026, at Good Shepherd Baptist Church at 11:00 a.m. She was preceded in death by her beloved parents, Mr. Willie "Mutt" Avery and Mrs. Joan Willis Avery, and her dear brother, Kirk L. Avery. Her beautiful memory will be forever cherished and kept alive by her loving and devoted husband, Mr. Christopher E. Wright; her two loving and devoted daughters, Leah F. Wright and Avery (Bryant) Huff; her brothers, Herbert (Carla) Harris and Alphonza (Tammy) Harris, both of Hephzibah, Georgia, and Michael Avery of Augusta, Georgia; her sister in law Carla Avery of Maryland, Virginia; her dear sister, Linda Willis of Augusta, Georgia; her two treasured goddaughters, Alekay Johnson and Zaneta Wilson of Lithonia, Georgia; and her beloved bonus mother, Mrs. Patricia Morgan of Augusta, Georgia. She also leaves behind a host of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, and lifelong friends whose lives were made brighter by her classy spirit and enduring kindness. Mrs. Wright may be viewed on Monday, August 31, 2026, from 1-5 p.m. at the funeral home.
