Mr. Herbert "Ben" Powell entered into rest on Thursday, October 8, 2026.  Funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 17, 2026, at 11 a.m. at B. A. Williams Memorial Chapel.  Survivors are his wife, Dawn Powell; daughters, Taylor Powell, Lauren Powell, Ariana Little, Natlya Horton; son Avery Samuels; grandson, Messiah Little-Scott; mother, Mary Marshall; stepfather, John Marshall; sisters, Felicia Lamar (Michael), Anita Powell; and other relatives. Viewing will be held Friday, October 16, 2026, from 1-6 p.m. at the funeral home.
