Ret. SSG Howard Jordan Jr. entered into rest on January 26, 2021. Graveside service will be held at Bellevue Memorial Garden on Saturday, February 6, 2021 at 11:00 a.m. Holding on to fond memories of their time together are his beloved wife, Mrs. Gloria N. Jordan, his daughters, Paquita (Renee) (Jeffrey) Hill, Mioshoa L. Jordan, and Acacia (Shaquille) Thomas. His sons Clarence Nash, Anthony and Marc Slater; his grandchildren, Jayden and Jaszmyn Davis; His aunt who was like a sister, Dorothy (Arthur) Reese; and his brothers and sisters, Derrick Rawls, Fred A. Rawls, Joseph Rawls, Valerie Rawls, Beverly (Michael) Sharp and Ellen Theresa (Kenneth) Heard; sisters and brothers-in-love Mamie Ross, Rick Allen, Janice Easterling, Earnest (Jessie) Johnson, Thomas Nash, and Jerry (Sandra) Nash. A niece he loved as a daughter, Lynthia R. Ross, a dear goddaughter, Collette (Virgil) D'Antignac, and godson, Michael (Monica) Bower. And a host of brothers he loved and mentored at Macedonia Church of Augusta, nieces, nephews, cousins, family and friends. Mr. Jordan may be viewed on Friday from 1 to 5 p.m. at the funeral home.
