Mr. James Edward Trottie entered into rest on Thursday, October 31, 2024. Funeral service will be held on Thursday, November 7, 2024, at B. A. Williams Memorial Chapel at 2:00 p.m. Interment will follow at Walker Memorial Park. In addition to his mother, James was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, George Coleman Sr. and Rhodie Coleman, and paternal grandparents, George Trottie and Beatrice Green. He leaves to cherish his memories his wife and partner of 37 years, Joya Trottie, Augusta, GA; two children, Cory (Deshawna) Trottie, Lithia Springs, GA, and Patrice Danielle Trottie, Augusta, GA; father, James Trottie, Elko, SC; mother in law, Patricia Walker, Hepzibah, Ga, two grandchildren, Sage Autumn Trottie and Sienna Summer Trottie, Lithia Springs, GA; one sister, Linda (Shawn - deceased) Allen, Elko, SC; three brothers: Gerald (Lavonda) Trottie, Elko, SC, Johnny (Peggy) Trottie, Williston, SC, and Fred (Bernice) Trottie, Randolph, NJ; three aunts: Rosa (Adam - deceased) Williamson, Augusta, GA, Wanda (Alphonso - deceased) Coleman, Williston, SC, and Denise Brister, Philadelphia, PA.
