Mrs. Janice Elaine Pruiett entered into rest on Wednesday, October 8, 2025. Funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 18, 2025, at B. A. Williams Memorial Chapel at 2:30 p.m. Interment will follow in the Pruiett Family Cemetery, Keysville, GA. She is preceded in death by her father, Charles Edward Dunn, mother, Hattie Mae Dickerson Boyd, maternal grandmother, Daisy Dickerson, brothers, Paul Edward Dunn, Percy Earl Dunn, and aunt, Betty Dunn Doyle. She leaves to cherish her memory a loving husband, George Pruiett; two sons, Damien (Allicent) Pruiett, Djangeo Pruiett; one daughter, Janna Pruiett; two precious granddaughters, Alaina Pruiett and Alexia Pruiett; one brother, Richard Dunn all of Hephzibah, GA; six sisters-in-law, Ida (Phil) Suggs of Louisville, KY, Virginia Marshall of San Francisco, CA, Liz Pruiett of Oakland, CA, Nettie Pruiett of Columbia, SC, Anna (Steve) O'Neil of Louisville, KY, Jessie Pruiett of Nashville, TN; three brothers-in-law, John L. (Mitch) of Stanton, TN, Larry (Cheryl) Pruiett of Honolulu, HI, David Pruiett of Stanton, TN, and a host of relatives, nieces, nephews, and friends. Elaine was a lifelong reader of books of every kind and for those of you wishing to honor Elaine's passion of reading and to continually inspire future generations to read books, the family is requesting that you donate a new Book & Book Marker in Her honor and not send flowers. The books will be donated to local Non- Profits in Elaine's name.
