Miss Jeannette D. Fields entered into rest on Tuesday, February 10, 2026. Funeral service will be held on Thursday, February 19, 2026 at 11 a.m. at Antioch Baptist Church. Burial will be at Pine Hill Baptist Church, Waynesboro, Georgia.  Cherishing Jeannette's memories are: three daughters, Alison D. Fields and Beverly R. Fields of Augusta, GA, Jessica C. Andrews of Gainesville, GA; a son, Sampson O. Fields of Augusta, GA; a grandson, Charles U. Fields, Jr. of Augusta, GA; two sisters, Rose F. Upshaw of Augusta, GA, Lauretha F. (Donald) Williams of Martinez, GA; two brothers, Miller G. (Kay) Fields, Sr. of Savannah, GA, and John E. (Gladys) Fields, Sr. of Norfolk, VA; an aunt, Geneva Carswell of Augusta, GA, a dedicated great-niece, Jawannica Haynes and a devoted great-nephew, Omari J.S. Fields of Augusta, GA; a devoted cousin, Vernell Dent of Augusta, GA, and a host of nieces, nephews, family, and friends. Miss Fields may be viewed on Wednesday, February 18, 2026 from 1 to 6 p.m. at the funeral home.
