Mrs. Josephine D. Royster entered into rest on Thursday, January 8, 2026. Memorial service will be held on Saturday, January 24, 2026, at B. A. Williams Memorial Chapel at 11:00 a.m. She was preceded in death by her father, Hiram Howard. Denise leaves to cherish her loving memory her devoted husband, Kevin Royster; two sons, Nadrin (Brittany) Hines and Aaron (Shiann) Royster; her mother, Jannie Parkman; two sisters, Jacqueline (Lawrence) Davis and Charyel Wilson; three brothers, Wilbert Martin, Calvery (Cynthia) Martin, and Rodrick (Taneka) Howard; three grandchildren, Elijah Hines, Aidan Mckie, and Adrianne Barnes; two aunts, Easter (Johnny) Curtis and Dorothy Lee; one uncle, Johnny (Lynette) Wright; one godson, Robert "Tank" Booker; one dear niece, Laurél Johnson; one dear sister, Carolyn (Ray) Scott; and three dear friends, Doris Taylor, Tracy Hill, and Shirley Paradise, along with a host of relatives and friends.
