Mrs. Louise G. Scott entered into rest on Friday, May 9, 2025. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, May 17, 2025 at 11 a.m. at Mount Sinai Baptist Church. Interment will follow at Mount Olive Memorial Gardens. She was graduate of Lucy C. Laney High School and retired from Gracewood. Mrs. Scott is survived by her son, Michael Collins; daughter, Cherel (Tony) Walton; brother, John Grier; sisters, Elizabeth Grier and Judy Grier; five grandchildren, Gabriel Collins, Valencia Collins, Odessa Terry, Tony Walton Jr. and Corrida Walton; seven great grandchildren, Brianna Anderson, Jaquan Dawson, Lamiah Johnson, Garrian Collins, Masyha Davis, Vanessa Logan, Denasia Coley, and a host of beloved family members and friends. Mrs. Scott may be viewed on Friday, May 16, 2025 from 4:00 pm until 6:00 pm at the funeral home.
