Mr. Mark Warren Wright entered into rest September 3, 2024. Funeral service will be held Saturday, September 7, 2024 at Good Shepherd Baptist Church at 11:00 am. He was preceded in death by his father, Tommy Anderson, Jr., a sister, Octavia Annette Gibson, and three brothers, Irvin Douglas Anderson, Thomas Anderson, and Lawrence Anderson. Cherishing his memories and continuing his legacy is his wife, Alilia Hardy Wright; children, Donta Dywan Betha of Augusta, GA, Calvetta Wright of Grovetown, GA, Damaris Wright (Melissa) of Augusta, GA, Maria Wright of Pineville, NC, Wyneshia (Freddie) Dowdell of Grovetown, GA, and Mark Wright, Jr. of Lexington, Kentucky; three bonus children Scherrie Hardy Grim of Duluth, GA, Joseph Hunt of Hephzibah, GA, and April Hunt of Hephzibah, GA; twelve grandchildren, Marquis Robinson, Ettienna Butler, Nyeshia Wright, Jaleesa Whittaker, Aniya Wright, Jamecia Butler, Jasmine Wright, Damaris Reddix, Jr., Kalebh Wright, Saniyah Sims, Donta Dywan Betha, and Freddie Lewis Dowdell III of Grovetown, GA; mother, Rose Marie Nelson and bonus mother, Joan Anderson Randolph; siblings from his mother, Pennie (Wayne) Thompson of Augusta, GA, Gregory Wright of Ft. Lauderdale, FL., Marjorie (Doug) Sims of Hampton, GA and Tammie Wright of Augusta, GA; and father, Cornell (Linda) Ward of Chesterfield, VA, Pocahontas Lyons of Florence, AL, Anita Anderson of Toledo, Ohio, Pamela Crews of Phoenix, AZ, Paula (Tyrone) Anderson-Sweet of Las Vegas, NV, Michelle (Anthony) Farmer of Hopewell Junction, NY, Tommy (Yvette) Anderson, III of Freeport, New York, and Troy (Lisa) Anderson of Hempstead, NY; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and other living relatives and caring friends, all of whom will miss him dearly.
