Martin Allen
Quick
Apr 22, 1959 — Sep 15, 2021
Mr. Martin Allen Quick entered a rest on September 15, 2021, at home in Hephzibah, GA. He was born in Brooklyn, NY on April 22, 1959 to Eugene and Betty Quick. Funeral service will be held on Saturday, September 25, 2021 at 2 p.m. at B. A. Williams Chapel with social distancing strictly enforced.
Marty, as friends knew him, had a love of football. There wasn't a Dallas Cowboys game he didn't miss. Marty also enjoyed fishing, working on cars, and of course watching Nascar races while remembering his favorite driver the late Dale Earnheart. There wasn't a sport he didn't like. Most of all Marty had the love of a huge family. His favorite names to be called were M, Dad, and Papa. His union of 37 years produced 4 children and 5 grandchildren.
We will always cherish your unbelievable charisma and how you made us all laugh. You could really work a room. Your determination, hard work and willingness to help was a standard to live up to. Your parenting advice and life lessons, taught and learned will be passed down. We have tons of unforgettable memories you have left behind. You will live on forever in our hearts. You are missed. You are forever loved.
He is survived by his wife Carolyn Quick and their children Martin Quick, LaToya Gaskins, Vanessa Moore, and Valerie J. Quick. As well as his Grandchildren Jason Moore, Mya Barton, Stefen Gray, James Quick, and Mason Quick who all reside in Georgia. A viewing will be held on Friday, September 24, 2021, from 1 to 5 p.m. at the funeral home.
