Mary Lizzie Jackson was called to eternal rest on July 15, 2025 at Doctors Hospital. Mary was born to the late Johnnie and Mattie Jackson on December 30,1963 in Augusta, Ga. Funeral service will held on Saturday, July 26, 2025 at B. A. Williams Memorial Chapel at 2:00 p.m. Interment will follow at Mount Olive Memorial Gardens. Mary was a 1981 graduate of T.W. Josey High School and was employed by Richmond County School System. Mary is preceded in death by her sister, Diane Moore and god sister, Lisa Bolton. Mary leaves broken hearts to cherish her memory to: daughter, Tekia Jackson; sons, Daven Jackson, Frank Jackson, Mylaik Wimberly; grandchildren, Roderick Bowers, Raquez Bowers, Daven Jackson Jr., Aiden Jackson, Milian Wimberly; great granddaughter, Kalani (Peaches) Waters; god granddaughter, Armani Hannah; brothers, Johnny (Shenita) Jackson and Dameon Williams all of Augusta, GA; sisters, Beatrice Leverett, Gwen Andre) Weeks, Natalie McGruger, Raychelle (Anthony) Philips-Gardner all of Los Angeles California, Lorene McClattie and Patricia Ann (Erwin) Germany of Augusta, Ga.; aunt, Gladys Jones of Los Angeles, CA; devoted nieces, Claudette Thomas, Clatasha (Willie) Mincey, and Clatoya Moore all of Augusta; and a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends.
