Mrs. Mary Overstreet entered into rest on Wednesday, May 15, 2024. Funeral service will be held on Saturday, May 25, 2024, at Greater Young Zion Missionary Baptist Church at 2:00 p.m. Interment will follow at Mount Olive Memorial Gardens. She was preceded in death by her parents Rev. Ulysees Sr and Johnniemae Barber and siblings, Johnnielee Barber, Milo Barber and Lillie B. Phillips. She is survived by her daughter, Teresa (Freddie) Cason; sons, Jasper (Shunia Flono- special friend) Overstreet, Barrett (Ericka) Overstreet; siblings, Bishop Ulysses (Nedina) Barber Jr., Willis Barber, Wilhelmina Bryant; eight grandchildren, Tiffany Butler, Kamarrow (Benjamin) Schnitzspan, Darius Overstreet, Kamea (Aramis) Lopes, Frevel Cason, Derrick (Chequetta) Brown, Turi Cason and Tamara Cason; great grandchildren, Elijah Townsend, Emanuel Butler, Nolan Schnitzspan, Naccai Schnitzspan and Kaliyah Lopes; five great-great grandchildren and a host of nieces. nephews, cousins and friends.
