Mrs. Mattie B. Beard entered into rest on Friday, January 3, 2025. Funeral service will be held on Thursday, January 9, 2025 at B. A. Williams Memorial Chapel at 11:00 a.m. Interment will follow at Simonia Baptist Church Cemetery. She is survived by her daughter, Judy Baker; son, Kenneth L. Beard and a host of nieces, nephews and other relatives. Mrs. Beard may be viewed one hour prior to the service.
