Mrs. Mattie Mae Ellison entered into rest on Sunday, September 28, 2025. Funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 4, 2025, at Mount Vernon Baptist Church at 2:00 p.m. Interment will be at Southview Cemetery. Preceding her in death were her husband, Floyd Ellison, Sr. and her sons, Floyd Ellison Jr., Steven Lewis, Jerry Lewis, Darryl Ellison, and John Lewis. Survivors are her children: Leon Jordan, Napoleon Jordan, Jerome Lewis, Pearley Ellison Bolton, Wanda Ellison Geter, Annie (Clarence) Williams, and Dannie Ellison; and a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and cousins.
