Michelle Johnson gracefully departed this world on May 9, 2026, leaving behind a legacy of love and generosity through her selfless act of organ donation. She was preceded in death by her beloved parents, and her siblings Renea Bailey, Harlan Bailey, and Robert McClain. Michelle's spirit will forever live on in the hearts of her fiancé of over 18 years, Brian Ross Sr., and in the cherished memories shared with her surviving siblings, William Bailey, Julia McClain, and Donna White, along with her many nieces and nephews.

She is also survived by three stepchildren and two granddaughters, Harleigh and Amelia, who lovingly called her "Grammy." Michelle's warmth touched a wide circle of family, friends, colleagues, and a special community referred to as "Hampstead heroes."

A private memorial service will be announced at a later date, allowing those who knew and loved her to celebrate her remarkable life.
