Minister Louise Simpson entered into rest on Saturday, August 30, 2025. Funeral service will be held on Saturday, September 13, 2025 at 2 p.m. at B. A. Williams Memorial Chapel. Interment will follow at Mount Olive Memorial Gardens. She is preceded in death by her parents, Luid Sr. & Pearl Washington, siblings, Rev. Marrieta Washington-Kyle, Kenneth Washington. She is survived by her children, Shalanda Christina (Eric) Knight-Henriquez, Trishanda Louise (Jamice) Knight, Branden Kirth Simpson, Yolanda Simpson, Chioma Simpson, Nneka Simpson; siblings, Sonya (Mike) Washington Thomas, Tiffany Washington, Luid Washington Jr; cousins raised as siblings, Natleata (Bobby) Coates and Nicole Williams; grandchildren, Jordan Kevohn Knight and Sarah I. Henriquez, Da'Marion L. Simpson, Braelyn N. Simpson, Jayden C. Simpson, Kristen S. Simpson, Antonio RK Simpson, Zamiere L. Simpson, Lyric A. Simpson; great-grandchild, Dakota Simpson and a host of nieces, nephews and other loving relatives.
