Mrs. Ollie Mae Lane entered into rest on Friday, January 31, 2025. Funeral service will be held on Saturday, February 8, 2025 at Brown Grove Baptist Church at 3:00 p.m. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. She was preceded in death by her parents, Joseph and Leolia Scott, brothers, Leon Scott and Arnold Moss, aunt, Vivian Berrian and lifelong friends, Julia Kelly, Turetha Neely, Zelline Jackson and Bobby Neely. Her memories will be forever embedded in the hearts and minds of her children, James Gary Lane Sr., Tony (Carolyn) Lane, Shirley (David) Daniels, Wendy (James) Wesbey, Terry (Melissa) Lane, Rufus (Carolyn) Lane, Ricky (Margery) Lane, Wallace Lane; siblings, Hazel Birt, Joanne (Cleveland) Roland, Pastor Rubye (Willie) Rucker, Eddie (Annie Bell) Scott, Willie Scott Sr., Marvin (Harriet) Scott; sister in-law, Debra Moss; twenty-seven grandchildren, thirty-seven great-grandchildren, seventeen great-great grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
