Renee Doreen Hobbs, age 55, passed away peacefully on 7 Jun 2024, at Piedmont Hospital. She was born to William and Jennie Morgan on 25 July 1968 in Colonial Beach, Virginia and raised in Annapolis. She has been a resident of various locations but most recently of Augusta, GA. Renee was married to Flavius Hobbs on 7 October 2011, in Atlanta, GA. She has worked as a devoted home educator and housewife after her enlistment as a Medical Specialist in the U.S. Army. Her passion for others could be seen in her pursuit of knowledge especially in the Bible, in healthcare and mental health to better help those with needs. Renee was a gifted artist that loved to work with paint, yarn, seashells and in making jewelry. Her most important priorities were her relationship to God and her family. Renee is survived by her husband, Flavius, her younger brother, Anthony, two daughters, Natalia and Alexa, three stepchildren, Esaias, Emmanuel and Vivianne, and a step-granddaughter, Nadia. Family, friends and associates are invited to Lumpkin Road Baptist Church, Augusta on Saturday, 15 June 2024 at 11:00 am to celebrate the homegoing and life of Renee Doreen Hobbs.
