Reverend Sylvester D. Bing received his heavenly wings Saturday, June 7, 2025 at his home surrounded by his family. Funeral service will be held on Wednesday, June 18, 2025 at 11:00 am at Beulah Grove Baptist Church. Burial will follow at Palmer Grove Missionary Baptist Church Cemetery. Survivors are his children: Virginia (Elliott) O'Bryant, Larry (Veronica) Bing, Vernester Hobbs, Dorothy (Donald) Hudson, James (Thirsteen) Bing; a bonus daughter, Keysa (John) Mitchell; sister, Rebecca Grant; brother, Joseph Bing; brother-in-law, Charlie (Henrietta) Smith; daughter-in-law, Pernella Bing; fourteen grandchildren, twenty-four great grandchildren, six great great grandchildren and a host of other relatives.
