Ricky Lawrence Henderson entered into rest on Tuesday, March 17, 2026. Funeral service will be held on Saturday, March 28, 2026, at B. A. Williams Memorial Chapel at 11:00 a.m. Ricky Lawrence Henderson was born on December 21, 1960, in Harlem, GA. Ricky attended Richmond Academy and later earned his GED. As a young man, he joined the Army Reserves and went on to work for the Richmond County Sheriff's Office. At the time of his passing, Ricky was employed by the Richmond County Board of Education.

Ricky was preceded in death by his parents, Robert and Beatrice Henderson, his sister Betty Henderson, niece Kimberly Cooper and nephew, Kevin Jackson. He also leaves to cherish his memory; children, Shameka, Tramell, Brandon and Sanisia, siblings; Minnie Lamb, Robert Henderson Jr, Elizabeth Pugh, Viola Henderson, Linda Willis, Helen Henderson, Arthur (Connie) Henderson and Michael Henderson; 3 granddaughters, 2 grandsons and 1 great granddaughter and a host of nieces and nephews.

Ricky enjoyed movies, music, and spending time with his loved ones. He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him. There will be a viewing one hour prior to the start of service.
