Mr. Robert John Cross entered into rest on Saturday, January 10, 2026. Funeral service will be held Saturday, January 17, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. at Break Free Augusta Ministries. He was preceded in death by his biological parents, Pete Jones and Christine (Kemp) Jones; adopted Parents, Robert Lee Cross and Carrie Cross; Godmother, Rosie; one brother, Danny Kemp; and one sister, Robin Michelle Smith. He leaves to mourn, his loving wife, Deborah Ferbee Cross of 15 years; 3 sons: Sean Cross, Ty Cross (Janyia), and Tristian Cross; Bbnus Children: Javis Reddix, Jimmie Reddix, Jamie Reddix-Easley, Joyce Reddix, and Jacqurius Hambersham;14 grandchildren, one Sister, Jacqueline Williams; brothers: Mitchell Kemp (Priscilla,) Harold Felder (Keasher), Curtis Spann (Karen), and Allen Kidd (Taiese); Special Brother: JD Davis (Sarah); 4 sister in laws: Jeradline Cunnigham, Linda Shaw, Sophia Ferbee-Simes (Chris) and Brenda Ferbee-Blackshear; 2 Brother in laws: Andre Ferbee (Shanita) and Frederick Ferbee; 6 Godchildren: Robert Nibbs (Tomika), Jasmine Tilley, Tasha Hambersham, and Shirley Cannon Godparents: Ruby Brown, Lizzie Lewis, and Cecil Coard; God sister: Beryl Singleton; Special Friend: Raynard Denson, and a host of family, friends and cousins. Mr. Cross may be viewed on Friday, January 16, 2026, from 1-5 p.m. at the funeral home.
