Burial will follow at Bellevue Memorial Gardens. He is survived by his wife, Ashley Ambrose; shildren, Khia LeNae' Ambrose, Rodrick Lenard Ambrose Jr. and Averi Reese Ambrose; mother, Margaret Ambrose; mentor, James Ambrose; stepmother, Ethel Ambrose; mother-n-law, Sherin Tansiel; aunt, Evelyn Jones; close cousin, Jason Wes; two brothers, Frederic Parker and David Smith; sister, Elisha Smith-Criner; two brothers-n-law, Willie Tansiel and Travis Tansiel Sr.; and a host of other relatives and friends.
