Mrs. Rose Mary Hopkins entered into rest on Sunday, August 4, 2024. Funeral service will be held on Saturday, August 10, 2024, New Zion Hill Missionary Baptist Church at 12:00 p.m. Interment will follow at Hillcrest Memorial Park. Born Rose Mary Washington, July 1, 1944 to Berley and Rosella Washington in Lafayette, LA. She was a 1963 graduate of Charlton-Pollard High School and a 1964 Lincoln Business College of Beaumont, TX. She was also a veteran of the United States Air Force. She married Edward Franklin Hopkins on July 16, 1967. She is preceded in death by one brother, Berley Washington Jr., two sisters, Jessie LeBlanc Beaumont, TX, Gloria Yates Beaumont, TX. She is survived by one daughter, Yolonda Jewell McGee; three grandsons, Jaray Mack Atlanta, GA, Justyn McGee Richmond, VA and Jordan McGee Atlanta, GA and a host of other loving relatives.
